Men’s red carpet hair rarely goes beyond a swipe of pomade and some texture, but Sunday night’s Golden Globes proved that winners wear man buns.

Both musician Alex Ebert and musician-actor Jared Leto, who took home the gold in their respective categories, were sporting the do.

Leto, who didn’t look a minute older than his days playing Jordan Catalano on “My So-Called Life,” twisted his long locks into a twirly updo.

Ebert pulled his long hair into a mop atop his head, even utilizing hair clips and pins to keep the somewhat unruly strands in place.

Both brought a very rock ‘n’ roll feel to the awards and proved that men’s hair can be interesting and unconventional even on the red carpet.
